Welcome to my portfolio! I'm a 23-year-old programmer with a passion for game and web design. I've recently finished my BA in Game Design with a minor in Programming.Click on any of the images you see to learn more about the different projects I've worked on.My LinkedIn, email, and resume are also linked below:

2021 - 2022

2019 - 2020

One of the first proper game levels I programmed in my first year of university; a shortened version of the game Frogger. In this version you only need to travel from the bottom of the screen to the top once. I made use of the SDL2 development library provided to us to program this level in Microsoft Visual Studio using C++.You can view and download the game's source code below:

I programmed an almost-exact clone of the game Asteroids (1979) in my first year of university. I made use of the SDL2 development library provided to us to program this level in Microsoft Visual Studio using C++.You can view and download the game's source code below:

Me and two other programmers made an endless-runner style game using the SDL2 development library and programmed in Microsoft Visual Studio using C++. Many parts of the programming were a collaborative effort, but the areas I worked the majority on were the menu easing functionality, UI layout, and audio implementation. You can view and download the game's source code below:

This was the first proper Unity game I worked on halfway through my first year of university. I worked alongside a group of fellow students to create a shoot-em-up game. We wanted to go for an atmospheric and less action-oriented theme, since we felt like the point-and-shoot mechanic can be used for things other than fighting.Through brainstorming we landed on the idea of playing as the lonely whale with a 52-hertz whale call, a call that no other whale can hear. You play as the whale and use echo location to find food and other whales, but when you come near the whales they swim away from you since they can't understand you. We wanted to evoke a feeling of loneliness and empathy for the lonely whale.I was one of the two programmers who worked on the scripting for the project. I focused on implementing the following aspects of the game:
- Animations
- Menus
- Beginning narration and tutorial
- Collision, revealing food/other whales
- Movement for the other whales
You can download the executable of the game below!

Honey Rush was made at the end of my first year of university as part of our first production course.
Honey Rush is a simple vertical endless runner, made in Unity, where you have to run away from a flood of honey chasing behind you. You catch coins and candy to get points, avoid obstacles, and get power-ups to give your character temporary advantages.
I was one of two programmers and I focused on implementing the following parts of the game:
- Tutorial and menus
- Highscore system
- Obstacles and some of the power-ups
- Honey flood
You can download the game executable on the itch.io page we made, as part of the game's submission to the 2020 Gotland Game Conference.

This project was made during the Vertical Slice production course of my second year at university. I collaborated with 7 other students to create this retro-inspired and stylistic metroidvania game in Unity.Set In Stone is a single-player side-scrolling platformer where you play as the axolotl, Niyo. As Niyo you will use various equipment to attack, hookshot, and shield your way through a mysterious temple dungeon!I contributed to the programming of the game alongside 2 other programmers. I mainly handled the following aspects of the project:
- Enemy movement
- Enemy collision
- Enemy health drops
- Environment door interaction
- Creating a custom landing page for the game
- Itch.io page CSS customization

Junior Game Coder at TableFlip, 10h/week while studying. From Aug 2021 - June 2022- Independently developed interactive website for company client with CSS, Javascript, HTML, and Wordpress plugins
- Worked in tandem with client's web designer using Figma
- Supported and maintained the website according to client demands

This project was an interesting change compared to the others that I've worked on. As part of a course teaching entrepreneurship and how to market a game towards a target audience, I set out to collaborate with fellow students on making a visual novel using characters from the SCP Foundation. We created a romantic and comedic visual novel with special routes for two characters, as well as a secret ending. My role in the project was to act as the Product Owner and guide my teammates in how the direction of the game's development should go, as well as assisting the Scrum Master in creating a backlog of tasks for the production sprints. I also contributed to programming the UI and menus of the game, as well as making the itch.io page. The game was made using the visual novel-making engine Ren'Py.You can download the game executable from the itch.io page below.
